Coonerty is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a researcher in the School of Education with Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE). Coonerty received her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and her MA in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School.
