Elizabeth Burr is a senior research associate on the Research-Practice Partnerships team at WestEd. She previously served as project director at the John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities at Stanford University and as project director at Policy Analysis for California Education (PACE) at the University of California, Berkeley. Her work focuses on English learners (ELs) including those with disabilities, and early education. She works to promote asset-based services for multilingual learners that embrace their emerging bilingualism. Burr earned her MPA in education and welfare policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
